Adding a paddock/compartment record
Use the element menu to add a paddock (or compartment if you have a forest property).  You need to specify at least an area for the paddock.  You can add several paddocks, and then your records will look like this:



Fill out whatever other records you wish to on the right hand screen.
Adding a stand record
Records of stands within any paddock can be added from the element menu.  After each stand is added, you can fill out information about the stand on the right-hand panel:



In the case above, the stand takes up the entire paddock, but the net stocked area of the stand is only 90%, meaning that 10% of the stand comprises gaps where there are no trees.  It's a good idea to fill out as much infiormation as you can in the right hand screen, because that some of those fields are used for plugins (helper programs").
