Thesis title
A critical review of QEII monitoring procedures in covenants under ongoing economic use (grazing)

Project description
Monitoring is a crucial aspect of effective land management and is required to verify whether or not a land management plan is being implemented successfully and to guide both QEII and land owners in making decisions about appropriate grazing levels. My MSc thesis will focus on determining what monitoring is necessary to ensure that the biodiversity values present and/or goals set for a covenant under grazing management are being sustained. I am aiming to provide positive recommendations on how land managers can undertake effective and informative monitoring that will ensure that key native biodiversity values are sustained within an economic management model.
