Thesis title
Spatial patterning of Hieracium invaded short tussock grasslands

Project description
Hieracium pilosella is a small but highly invasive weed of the short tussock grasslands of New Zealand. Its invasion has greatly reduced the grazing and biodiversity values of these lands. My thesis investigates the impact of this weed on the natural vegetation of these plant communities, specifically looking at how the small scale spatial patterns of these plants has been altered.
